In conjunction with our Spring 2002 Institute of Optics Industrial Associates Meeting April 9 and 10^th, we are having a special one-day Symposium on Monday April 8th in honor of Prof. Robert W. Boyd, who was recently named the M. Parker Givens Chair Professor of Optics, and Parker Givens himself. We are inviting all former students of Bob and Parker to come and give a presentation on technical or business issues, or simply to share personal recollections of their time here as students. You are welcome to join us for the Industrial Associates Meeting as well, where we will have a series of guest, faculty and student speakers on Tuesday April 9 and 10.
